Holistic Fitness

Fed up and bored – feel like life is passing you by. Or maybe you’d like to try something new and different. Through holistic fitness you will be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This will include correct breathing, posture and suppleness. The movements will provide basic stretching to encourage the body to look after itself. Because the exercise program is based on the art of aikido you will also learn self-awareness and self-protection and this can only be a bonus, particularly in this day and age.

No matter how unfit you think you are, the program will ensure that you work within your capabilities with gentle encouragement to explore your limits. Live your life to its full potential with dignity and self-esteem.

The aims and goals of the program are to give all a chance to explore the boundaries of personal development, a sense of achievement and a purpose in life. Aikido is a way of life and there are not many arts that provide such a unique and profound method for individuals to better themselves. Training will be conducted in a safe and friendly environment with opportunity to forge new friendships with a sense of belonging and identity.
